Mihir Diwakar and Soumya Vishwas, MS Dhoni’s erstwhile business associates, have drawn more controversy when allegations of cheating were made against them in Tamil Nadu and Gujarat. The two people, who are also the directors of Aarka Sports and Management Limited, are charged with extorting large sums of money by establishing sports academies around the nation in Dhoni’s honor even though the former captain of Team India canceled the contract.

Mihir has played alongside Dhoni and was once a member of the Ranji team.

M.R. Enterprises of Ahmedabad files a complaint.

As per the filed suit, they were called in 2020 by Mihir Diwakar and Soumya Vishwas, who informed them that Dhoni had plans to establish cricket academies around the nation. They also have a ten-year license to operate it.

Inspired by Diwakar’s remarks, the aforementioned firm gave him a licensing fee of Rs 45 lakh for a ten-year period to establish a cricket school in Gujarat. In addition, a fee of Rs 75,000 per month was paid to get the authority to establish an institution using Dhoni’s name.

under October 2022, M.R. Enterprises was required under the agreement to pay a royalty of Rs 9,25,000.

The lawsuit claims that 1.47 lakh crore rupees was spent on setting up the cricket stadium and other amenities, and that Rs 3.5 lakh was used for the guests’ accommodations, lodging, and travel expenses for Arka Sports Management Private Limited personnel.

To far, Rs 2.11 lakh crore has been used for the purpose of setting up and maintaining the Gujarat cricket academy. Later, it came to light that Dhoni had revoked the accused pair’s permission to establish a cricket school on August 15, 2021, which prohibited them from receiving any kind of payment.

One more complaint submitted to Tamil Nadu

On January 30, 2022, Chandrashekhar, the secretary of the Sri Shraddha Education Trust in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, filed a second FIR. He claims that Rs 35 lakh was taken in Dhoni’s name by Diwakar and Vishwas.

Diwakar said that Arka Sports was Dhoni’s approved business, and Chandrashekhar reported this to the police.

Dhoni filed a Ranchi lawsuit.

Dhoni filed a lawsuit against the directors of Aarka Sports and Management Limited in the Ranchi court about a week ago, claiming a Rs 15 crore scam via his friend and agent Seemant Lohani.

The two sides came to a deal in 2017 for Dhoni to have the cricket academy managed on his behalf, and Dhoni was to receive a franchise fee from Arka Sports in addition to a profit-sharing portion.

But since Arka Sports disregarded these requirements, Dhoni lost a significant amount of money.
