<p>Rasmus Hojlund has had difficulties since joining Manchester United in the summer, as noted by Alan Shearer. Shearer, who now holds the record for most Premier League goals scored with 260, believes that Hojlund has not been receiving enough support from his teammates. On January 28, Manchester United defeated Newport County 4-0 in the FA Cup fourth round, and the Danish striker seemed furious. Hojlund had to wait until the second-half stoppage time to get on the scoreboard, despite the fact that the Red Devils controlled most of the game.</p>

<p>Shearer believes that even though Hojlund hasn’t had much help from his teammates, he has been trying his hardest to score every opportunity and has led the Manchester United front line rather effectively this season. The 53-year-old said, “I thought he toiled away really well up front on his own,” in a BBC interview. He did a good job leading the line. That’s why I believed he deserved to win the goal. He’s not dead, and he carries himself with great dignity.</p>
<p>Given how much work Hojlund put in throughout the game, Shearer felt he definitely deserved a goal against Newport County. As I already said, I believe he earned it for all of his actions, effort, and other factors. Throughout the day, he did not stop. Playing on that team may be challenging at times because I never quite know when the ball is going to arrive. But you have to persevere, and he did that in order to get his goal,” the former football player and current commentator said.</p>
<p>Paul Parker, a former Manchester United player, criticized Alejandro Garnacho and Marcus Rashford, claiming that no striker would want to play with both wingers. He claims that while Hojlund has always been capable of scoring goals, the other Manchester United strikers don’t provide him with adequate support.</p>
<p>Roy Keane has said that Hojlund hasn’t shown enough drive to score goals, but it must also be difficult when you never receive the ball, as I’ve witnessed. I see Keane’s point of view since Hojlund sometimes fails to make the runs into the box, which is a vulnerability. He must do better than that. He has to be more self-centered, as I’ve mentioned previously. Parker told Tipsbladet that “he should demand to get the ball every time.”</p>
<p>With five goals in six games, Hojlund tied for the most goals scored during the Champions League group stage this year. He hasn’t been able to replicate his success in English events, either.
