India’s most affordable 5G phone, perhaps costing less than Rs., might soon be released by Jio, owned by Akash Ambani

India’s telecom industry has seen a change thanks to Reliance Jio, owned by Akash Ambani. Reliance Jio has introduced a number of reasonably priced plans and goods for the general public over the last several years. In collaboration with Qualcomm, Reliance Jio, headed by Akash Ambani, is getting ready to introduce one of the most affordable 5G smartphones in India. According to a Telecom Talk story that references Moneycontrol, Qualcomm and Reliance Jio might release a 5G phone for less than Rs 8000 before the end of this year. In India, 250 million 2G and 3G consumers may benefit from the new gadget as they transition to 4G and 5G.

Rumors about Reliance Jio’s low-cost 5G smartphone have been circulating online for a while. Although there have been a number of Jio 5G phone leaks over the last few months, Chris Patrick, SVP and General Manager of Qualcomm’s Handsets, told Moneycontrol that the gadget may not be released for another few months.

Our goal with the new chipset is to provide customers searching for low-cost devices with a complete 5G experience. The item draws inspiration from India. We’re paying close attention to the 4G–5G transition. Therefore, our focus is on how to ensure that the transition is as seamless as possible and that our products are really optimized for telcos, handset developers, and end users. said Qualcomm’s SVP and General Manager of Handsets, Chris Patrick.

Nearly all of our international products are led by our local teams, particularly those in Hyderabad and Bengaluru. The size of our handset business is enormous,” he said.

It’s important to remember that Jio has already partnered with a major international tech company to provide an inexpensive phone. Additionally, Jio, owned by Akash Ambani, and Google collaborated to create a cost-effective 4G gadget that was not well received by the public. That being said, the next 5G phone is anticipated to provide a different outcome.
