<p>The Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) is set to make history on March 23 when Punjab Kings take on the Delhi Capitals in their Indian Premier League (IPL) encounter. With this game, the PCA will embark on a new path by hosting more international matches there in the future. The stadium, which can hold 35,000 people, is ready to host the event after more than ten years and a few controversy.</p>
<p>Formerly known as Kings XI Punjab, the Punjab Kings have formerly called IS Bindra PCA Stadium in Mohali and HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala home for their home games. The franchisee originally said that it would hold three home games in Nagpur in 2016, but it eventually moved to Dharamsala. Since 2008, their home field has been the Mullanpur Stadium.</p>
<p><strong>Practice begins.</strong></p>
<p>The Punjab Kings players have begun their practices at the stadium, led by captain Shikhar Dhawan. Dhawan referred to the team’s new stadium as their “lucky charm” during the jersey introduction. <p><strong>Rishabh Pant is expected to return.</strong></p>
