Taj Cidade de Goa Horizon, Goa is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Rupesh Gupta as the Hotel Manager, effective March 23, 2026.
Mr. Gupta began his hospitality journey as an Industrial Trainee at Taj View Hotel, Agra, in May 2002. Over the past 21 years, he has built extensive global experience across luxury hotels in India, the UAE, and Africa, with a strong focus on Food & Beverage and Operations.
Originally from Agra, Mr. Gupta holds a Diploma in Hotel Management & Catering Technology. He lives with his spouse and daughter. Outside of work, he enjoys travelling, music, and cricket.
Throughout his career, he has been associated with leading hospitality brands such as Le Méridien Jaipur, Crowne Plaza Gurgaon, and DoubleTree by Hilton, Dubai, where he played a key role in driving guest satisfaction, operational excellence, and revenue growth. Prior to this appointment, he served as Director of Operations at Grand Hyatt Goa. During his professional tenure, he has also been part of several prestigious taskforces, including assignments at Park Hyatt Goa, Hyatt Regency Pune, and Hyatt Regency Harare, Zimbabwe, further strengthening his global operational expertise.
Mr. Gupta is recognized for his proficiency in managing large-scale banquets, fine dining, and multi-outlet operations, along with a proven track record in pre-openings, innovative dining concepts, and building high-performance teams.
In his role as Hotel Manager at Taj Cidade de Goa Horizon, Goa, Mr. Gupta will report to the General Manager and will be responsible for driving operational excellence, enhancing guest experiences, and steering the property towards continued growth and innovation.
